READING: Complete the assignment called "The Tornado" in Benchmark (access through Clever). You can also find the cause/effect chart and answer key by clicking on the READING WEEK 3 tab. Click HERE for a quick video.
Do one episode of Headsprout and Level Up in RazKids. Continue working on Freckle assignments at your own pace. Don't forget independent reading.
WRITING: You've been reading Realistic Fiction books. If you didn't get a chance to read Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day, you can find the link on yesterday's post. I'd like you to use THIS ORGANIZER to identify the characters, setting, problem, and solution. Then write a brief description of the beginning, middle, and end of the story. Reread the book if you need to to find out Alexander's problem that he was having with his family. You can also find the organizer in the WRITING NARRATIVES tab. It is labeled "BME organizer."
CONTINUE TO WORK AT YOUR OWN PACE ON THE MATH, SCIENCE, AND SOCIAL STUDIES ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE WEEK:
MATH: If you have access, logon to Zearn and Freckle to complete assignments. Logon to Epic and check your mailbox. Look for "Geometry" in your mailbox and start reading the books on Geometry. Go back to MATH WEEK 1 AND MATH WEEK 2. You should be completing at least one word problem per day. Continue to work through the lessons in Chapter 12 of your math book. If you don't have your math book, the math book can be accessed online through Clever and then McGraw Hill. You can try out FIRST IN MATH (a new app in Clever) for fluency practice and other math activities.
SCIENCE/S.S.: Continue working through Studies Weekly via Clever. Try to complete the lessons on MLK and Juliette Gordon Low this week (weeks
Listen to the two books about the life cycle of a frog. 1. The Caterpillar and the Pollywog and 2. A Tadpole Grows Up. You can access these books by logging into Clever, then Scholastic-Bookflix.
